More updates on my flowers

They are starting to really spring up now - I have put some fine netting over the top of them to keep the cats out!

Tulips update

I just took some photos today of my flowers.

I have tulips and freeshias in the two pots and both are growing well now.

I have to get something to cover over the pots for a while as I found today that one of the neighbour cats decided to "use" one pot overnight - (strange seeing it rained last night and so the pot is wet). Anyway that is a task for today.

But here are my babies today - growing well.

Tulips

I was given some tulip bulbs from my mother-in-law for my birthday. I love tulips!

I planted them in 2 pots with some freesia bulbs I had and put them out on the deck. I thought I might have drowned them as I found the pots full of rain water a couple of weeks ago, so I pulled the drain bung out and let them drain out and waited. What with the rain and the frosts we have had I was certain they would have been killed.

But yesterday I noticed the first signs of life - litle green shoots coming out of the pots.

So here are the first photos of life. I know you can just see the green shoots - but they are there.
